Our story began in 1927 when Carl Schumacher immigrated to the United States from Germany and started the company from his home in Bellevue, Kentucky. Under the leadership of Ken Schumacher, who took over the business from his father, Schumacher & Co. became one of the most respected wood flooring experts in the Midwest region.
