Services
Engineered Flooring
Engineered hardwood flooring features multiple wood layers with a real hardwood top layer. This construction provides exceptional stability for Bay Area humidity swings and concrete subfloors. Ideal for basements, radiant heat installations, and wide-plank designs, it offers durability with potential for refinishing based on wear layer thickness.
Solid Hardwood
Solid hardwood flooring consists of single-piece wood planks that offer timeless aesthetics and longevity. Suitable for wood subfloors, these floors can be refinished multiple times. They require proper acclimation to prevent warping but provide traditional charm and value retention for upper-level installations.
Unfinished Flooring
Unfinished hardwood flooring allows complete customization through on-site sanding and staining. This option ensures seamless transitions with existing floors and precise color matching. While requiring longer installation time, it delivers tailored results ideal for restoration projects and historic homes with specific design requirements.
Bamboo Flooring
Bamboo flooring offers sustainable strength with Janka ratings up to 4,000. This rapidly renewable resource provides moisture resistance suitable for kitchens and bathrooms. Available in various finishes, it combines modern aesthetics with environmental responsibility, making it ideal for eco-conscious homeowners seeking durable flooring solutions.
Hemp Wood
Hemp wood flooring combines exceptional durability with minimal environmental impact. Growing to maturity in four months, it prevents deforestation while offering natural pest resistance and dimensional stability. This US-made option provides beautiful, long-lasting floors with inherent antimicrobial properties and reduced carbon footprint compared to traditional materials.
