John's father, James, honed his skills as a carpet installer for decades, instilling in John a strong work ethic and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. Under James's guidance, John received comprehensive training in carpet installation and product knowledge, preparing him to carry the torch of the family business.

Upon taking over his father's business, John rechristened it Meyer Floorcovering and began building a reputation for excellence in the community.
