Tech Flooring Services

Tech Flooring Services is a comprehensive resource to assist anyone having a flooring problem. We work with retailers, installers, manufacturer claims analysts, designers, attorneys, builders, and consumers when a flooring failure arises and a third party is needed to help with resolving an issue. Our team consists of Ricky and Eric Bunker, a father and son duo with extensive experience in the flooring industry. Ricky has been in the industry since 1979 and has gained a wealth of knowledge through technical classes and certifications. Eric, on the other hand, was raised in the business and has also gained certifications and experience through his installation business and full-time inspection work since 2011. Our goal is to approach every inspection unbiased, focusing on factual information and industry standards.

Our Work

We inspect a wide range of flooring materials including carpet, ceramic, laminate, vinyl, wood, and concrete. We have dealt with major name brands such as Armstrong, Mannington, Pergo, Shaw, and Mohawk, among others. Our services include inspecting ripped carpeting, water-damaged hardwood, bamboo shrinkage, surface scratches, and any other problem that arises. We also perform repairs, color correction, and moisture testing in accordance with ASTM Standards. Additionally, we teach classes for salespeople and installers.
